UPPSC PCS Reason for examination 2015
Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has decided to make a change in the pattern of the examination area to the provincial public service, popularly known as PCS exam. New Review scheme which is based on the model of the UPSC civil service is proposed to the national government. Hopefully, New Review System will be presented to the UPPSC PCS 2015 exam.
Changes in the structure for PCS exam: -
These are the following changes can be introduced into the Hands of written examination PCS -
► First Book Essay will, as in the UPSC civil service examination.
► There will be four papers of general studies.
► Topics option will be reduced to one. There will only be two papers of optional subjects.
UPSC Civil Services difference: -
The main difference between UPSC Civil Services Mains exam and UPPSC PCS is that all four of General Studies papers will be objective type in which the difference UPSC General Studies paper is descriptive / conventional type.
Why the change happen -
The main reason for changes in the Hands written exam is the number of candidates is increased after the government's decision to increase the maximum age limit for PCS exam is up to 40 years. Number of messages are also increased so that it is obvious that it will take more time to check / marking answer sheets for conventional / descriptive review.

This change will be very beneficial for candidates who are preparing for the administrative review. Candidates should prepare differently for PCS exam and civil service exam. Since the model is the same, candidates can prepare for exams. Same time.
